New Barbieri motorhoe Italian factory Barbieri launched a new motorhoe B/70. Constructors were led by an idea of producing a low cost machine that still has characteristics for the professional usage. Gearbox concept is 3+1. Available engines are Honda GX 200 (gasoline) and Lombardini 15LD225 (diesel). This machine is a recommendation for the vineyard cultivation.

Agricultural machines are of great importance for every farm. There are many producers and traders. The choice is big, so is the risk of making a mistake.

Agricultural technology in Croatia is several steps behind from modern agricultural industry. Tractor IMT 539 which is a replica of Massey Ferguson outnumbers all the rest. The old Labinprogres (a.k.a. Goldoni) is still undisputed walking tractor.

Tractors are most important agricultural machines. They are the main source of power in farming. Buying a tractor requires a thorough analysis of needs and the character of the jobs that it should do. You should foresee which implements you might need in the future and what they require from tractor.

When you choose rotary tillers, mowers, flail mowers, ploughs, rotary harrows and other tractor implements you should consider the load they will take. Hard conditions require strong construction.

Due to their small dimensions and great versatility walking tractors (two-wheel tractors) are largerly used in vineyards and fruit yards. They also come with different implements. As already mentioned, Labinprogres is the most present walking tractor in Croatia.

Mowers are usualy devided in two groups: sickle bar and rotary mowers. Sickle bar mowers are used both for low and tall grass mowing. Rotary mowers are used for low grass mowing and they don't show too good results with tall grass. If a terrain was not mowed for some time or if it has small branches and bushes then it should be mowed by a flail mower.

Since most of the agricultural machinery in Croatia is very old, the engines for agricultural application get good sale results becouse they replace the old engine. When repairment cost exceeds reasonable amount, people replace the old engine with a new one. The most common engines here are IMR, Deutz, Lombardini, Briggs&Stratton, Perkins etc.

Generators are made for current production. There are combustion engine-powered and PTO powered generators. Pto generators are very useful in farming as a standby source of power. Their price is much lower.
